The Westmorland and Furness Council embarked on a multi-million-pound project to transform the historic Market Hall.
Raymond designed, specified and constructed the famous Doncaster Fish Market 30 years ago and it remains as good as the day it opened. Housing 15 fish stalls, the fish market was revolutionary for the UK at the time and reflected continental food hall design techniques.
The Fish Market continues to trade vibrantly today and enjoys not only fishmongers but also a popular and well-known gourmet fish restaurant.
